By choosing Faraway Weddings to plan your perfect wedding abroad, you not only have the reassurance and guarantee that your special day will be professional organised. As a Faraway Wedding client, you can also enjoy an extensive and exclusive list of choices and options to help us plan a wedding experience that’s not only personal and special but unique to you.

On booking your wedding with us, you’ll be given a username and password to use Faraway’s Interactive Wedding Tools. Each tool has been created to help you to explore every possible detail of your wedding options and to allow you to plan, in advance, as much or as little as you like.

At all times, you will also have the full support of our experienced wedding coordinators to help you use this tool which is designed to let us know exactly how you want your wedding day experience to be.

Firstly, you will get access to the Save the Date section. This enables you to choose from several designs to notify via email everyone who you want to inform about your wedding date.

The Registry is possibly the most exciting tool available - providing you with a list of gifts or wedding items that you can choose and then invite people to view and buy for your wedding day.

Items available include gifts such as champagne glasses, oil paintings and ornamental Thai carvings that you can keep forever. You can also request experiences or excursions to enjoy during your stay; such as an elephant ride, dinner for two at selected restaurants, a round of golf or even a spa experience.

Your guests can also choose to purchase elements of the wedding ceremony such as a firework display, fire lanterns, or an elephant procession.

Those invited to view the registry will be able to see which items are available and purchase them directly via a secure e-commerce facility.

With this facility, your guests can view your selected registry and pre-buy your wedding gift saving them rushing around when they arrive. For those who aren’t able to join you, they can still select a gift, experience or service of your choice and in doing so, contribute to your wedding day.

In the Guests section, you can fill in comprehensive details of your guests such as: name; role; email address; participation in ceremony; which hotel they’re staying at; any dietary requirements; which table name you want them to sit at and so on.

This will of course help us to offer a more personal service to, not just yourself, but your guests too.

The Checklists facility provides you with a To Do List and a calendar countdown to your special day. This list can be edited to contain items personal to you and, should any item become overdue, it will turn red to act as a further reminder.

The Vows section allows you to custom build your ceremony and vow choices. For each part of the secular ceremony there are a number of paragraphs and wordings to choose from.

You can simply select the words that you prefer for each section and then preview your choice. Once you are happy with your choices you can then enter an editable version of your preview and add your own words or readings if you desire.

Your final selection will automatically be sent to the head celebrant who will review your choices and adjust them where necessary to enhance the flow of the ceremony. After you have agreed the final format then the head celebrant will forward your unique vows to the celebrant who will be performing your ceremony.

There are two sample ceremony formats which you can either use as a guide or choose for your own ceremony.

The Scrapbook section really allows you to release your imagination and ideas and build a picture of exactly how you want your day to be.

This section provides an extensive selection of photographs for you to browse through, in areas such as flowers, table centrepieces, ceremonial set-ups, bride’s hairstyles and many other sections.. By simply clicking under the pictures you like, your choices will be saved into your personal scrapbook. Here you can also add your notes to selected photos in your scrapbook, creating a fun and informative way of assisting your Faraway Wedding Coordinator in realising your perfect wedding.

The final tool is the Wedding Extras section which really brings the whole wedding day experience together.

This provides an opportunity to choose all of the available services and options to go with your wedding package that will enhance your dream wedding day.

Included in this section is the Must Have Photo List, Hair and Makeup, Dinner Menus, DVD videography to name but a few.

The tools have been designed to lead up to the Final Selections section. Here, all your photos, options and notes that you've selected in your personal scrapbook as well as your music choices, flowers, vows, guest package and other selections from all the tools are summarised in a comprehensive list. Your final selections can be tweaked and changed at any time but once you're satisfied with this, you can send it directly to your Faraway Wedding Coordinator who will then input the information in your Wedding Planner to help us realise the perfect wedding for you.
